  • The CLONK booking agency has announced its closure. CLONK was founded by Richie Hawtin and Katrin Schlotfeldt in 2004. (Their working relationship dates back to 1998, when Schlotfeldt booked Hawtin's first Plastikman/Artifacts tour while she was working for Cocoon's booking agency.) As well as representing Hawtin, CLONK looked after a number of artists on the Minus roster, including Ambivalent, Heartthrob and Hobo. The agency took on Tale Of Us in 2013, while techno producers Max Cooper and Paco Osuna were also on their books. Though no specific reason is given, an email sent by the agency—attributed to Hawtin and Schlotfeldt—stated: "Change is afoot and after nine successful years, we have decided to close down operations at our agency." Schlotfeldt has taken a role at Artist Alife booking agency.
