  • Welcome to the new RA. For the first time in our 12-year history, we've given the site a full redesign. The design process started two years ago. During that time, RA has been stripped back and completely rebuilt from the ground up. The changes range from aesthetic improvements to extensive under-the-hood tweaks that make it easier to use the site. Our aim is to improve the experience for anyone who interacts with RA—and there are now more than two million of you every month—whether you're a fan, artist, label or promoter. We're sure you'll discover a number of the changes as you use the site in the coming weeks, but here are some of the key changes we'd like you to know about:
RA works on mobiles now (thanks for your patience on this one). Crafted with multi-device usage in mind, the new site design is responsive, and renders with the same clarity on retina display devices, mobiles and tablets as on desktop setups. We've got a new logo. Content is prioritised based on your favourite artists and labels. We've made our features larger, so they're easier to read and nicer to look at. We've enhanced the top 1000 artist profiles. All artist pages are now fully integrated with SoundCloud to help you discover new music. There are some brand new functions, too, like the top navigation panel, which serves as a notification centre for updates, messages, invites and requests.
We encourage feedback on the new site so spend some time getting to know the new RA, have a poke around, break some things—and when you do let us know. The new RA is very much a starting place. It will allow us to realise the ideas we've been kicking around for years, so expect it to develop gradually in the coming weeks, months and years.
