- The debut album from the Dutch duo will drop on Dirt Crew Recordings in March.
Detroit Swindle have announced full details of their debut full-length, Boxed Out.
Also known as Lars Dales & Maarten Smeets, the Amsterdam-born pairing have caused quite a stir in the world of club-centric house since debuting on Dirt Crew Recordings back in 2012. EPs on Saints & Sonnets, Tsuba and Freerange have followed since, alongside the launch of their own label, Heist Recordings. IDirt Crew will release the LP, presenting 13 typically robust cuts. Featuring vocal performances from Mayer Hawthorne and Ghanese-Canadian soul singer Sandra Amarie, the album draws on Detroit Swindle's love of disco, golden era hip-hop and classic, upfront US house.
