- The UK producer's fourth LP will see release through Warp next month.
patten has revealed full details surrounding his latest studio album, ESTOILE NAIANT, due out on Warp Records in February.
The 10-track offering follows the EOLIAN INSTATE EP, released through Warp in November. The LP will be patten's fourth to date, and his first since 2011's widely acclaimed GLAQJO XAACSO. Speaking to the intricacy of its composition, ESTOILE NAIANT was "informed equally by Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges's evocative maze-like short stories, late nights at early FWD events and the open tunings of Sonic Youth's chiming guitars," according to a press release. For the project, patten continues to collaborate with visual artist Jane Eastlight. For more of an idea of what to expect from the album, check out the video for "Drift" below.
