  • Rrose will play the next I Am Not To Be Trusted Party, taking place on January 25th. The monthly night launched last year in an attempt to highlight the best of Detroit talent in neighbouring Ann Arbor. The events take place at The Necto, a venue where dance music events are relatively rare but that once used to play host to a Jeff Mills residency. So far the series has featured Project 313, Annie Hall, Kero and others. For their sixth party (which doubles as an official Movement 2014 pre-party), they've got American enigma Rrose, known for his hypnotic take on the genre. He runs the Eaux label, has had several releases on Sandwell District (before that label's demise), and last year made his debut on Stroboscopic Artefacts as well. He'll be joined by Blank Code associate Corbin Davis and Dub Monitor's Max Ellington. Check out Rrose's recent mix for Electronic Explorations' Warehouse Sessions series here.
