  • Dark Entries has revealed a new series called Editions focusing on more dance-oriented material, with the first release due out next January. The label was founded in San Francisco a few years ago as an outlet for rediscovering and reissuing rare or out of print electronic music. Earlier this year they had one of their most prominent issues yet with Patrick Cowley's School Daze, a collection of the disco pioneer's gay porn soundtracks. Now they're moving onto the dance floor with Editions, which will seek out similar archival material aimed at the clubbier end of the spectrum according to Juno Plus. First up is a 12-inch from Italian duo Victrola, a reissue of Maritime Tatami, which was the duo's only official release at the time back in 1983, and one that made use of classic Roland drum machines (including the 303) when they were still relatively new. The vinyl package will replicate the original issue exactly, and also includes some rare photos. Tracklist A Maritime Tatami B Game Of Despair Dark Entries will release Maritime Tatami on January 14th, 2013.
