  • The Analogue Cops will release a remix EP under the name Xenogears in January. The Italian duo of Lucretio and Marieu, known for their rough and lo-fi house music, operate under a few pseudonyms, but Xenogears was the first they ever used. Lately they've preferred The Analogue Cops, though they did have an EP on Tabernacle in 2011 under the name, as well as a few assorted tracks and a remix earlier this year. Now the two are reviving the project for a full album called Lost Artemis due out next spring, and "Multiverse," perhaps a bit warmer than some of the duo's recent work, is the first taster. The single will be released along with three remixes—by Madteo, Vinalog and Third Side (Lucretio & Marieu's collaborative project with Steffi)—on the duo's own Restoration label. You can listen to clips of all four tracks over on the Restoration SoundCloud page. Tracklist 01. Multiverse (Third Side Remix) 02. Multiverse (Madteo NY Blows-Wave Remix) 03. Multiverse (Vinalog Remix) 04. Multiverse (Xenogears' Original Mix) Restoration will release Multiverse in January 2014.
