  • Sónar has announced the first 25 acts to perform at its 2014 edition, which will run from June 12th through 14th in Barcelona. The festival, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013, has invited Richie Hawtin to perform twice at next year's event: once at Sónar By Day as Plastikman, and once at Sónar By Night under his real name. He'll be joined on the bill by UK outfit Massive Attack, who will debut their new live show, as well as established electronic acts like James Holden, Matmos, Four Tet, Jon Hopkins, Oneohtrix Point Never, Caribou, Bonobo and Moderat. Some more up-and-coming names are also on the bill, including Evian Christ, Copeland (AKA former Hype Williams member Inga Copeland) and Breaking Through subject Jessy Lanza.
