- The UK techno producer's second album will come out in February of next year.
Perc will release his second album, The Power & The Glory, in February 2014.
Ali Wells could be the hardest working man in techno: in 2013 alone he's launched two sub-labels—one called Perc Trax Ltd. and another called Submit—and teamed up with Adam X and PoleGroup for projects. He'll round out 2013 with news of a second album. It will land three years on from his debut LP, Wicker & Steel, which was described by RA's Nick Connellan as "an album that keeps the dance floor in focus while simultaneously gazing further afield."
The Power & The Glory features two vocalists: Factory Floor's Nik Colk Void guests on "Speek," while Dan Chandler of Dethscalator appears on "Rotting Sound" and "Take Your Body Off," which will be the album's first single. It will come out through Wells' own Perc Trax label on double-vinyl, CD and digital formats. Launch parties will be held in London, Berlin, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires over the coming weeks.
