  • Mondkopf will release his fourth album, Hadès, on In Paradisum in February 2014. French artist Paul Régimbeau has amassed a varied discography since he debuted back in 2006. Exploring hard-edged electro house and softer, more atmospheric music that leaned on trance, his output for labels like Asphalt Duchess and Fool House tended to be differ with each release. But around 2012 Régimbeau took his longtime love affair with metal—particularly black metal—as an inspiration for a new sound more closely aligned to the new wave of industrial techno. Last year he founded the In Paradisum label with Guillaume Heuguet, and then earlier in 2013 he had his most high-profile release yet, with an EP on Perc Trax. As with his previous albums, Hadés will be an atmospheric affair, though a press release promises "wave after wave of drum assaults" as well. The LP also signals a new live setup for Régimbeau, where he'll perform with Saaad guitarist Greg Buffier and apparently move away from straight-up techno into more abstract territory. Tracklist 01. Hadès I 02. Eternal Dust 03. Cause & Cure 04. Immolate 05. Here Comes The Wispers 06. Hadès II 07. Absences 08. The Stars Are Falling 09. We Watched The End 10.
