A three-part series of remixes from DJ Koze's Amygdala album will begin next month.
Due out December 2nd, the first instalment features Efdemin and Matthew Herbert, with the latter returning the favour following Koze's remix of "It's Only," which came out this time last year. The next two 12-inches feature an all-German cast of production talent, with Roman Flügel, Robag Wruhme, Wolfgang Voigt and Mathias Kaden all commissioned to rework album tracks. All three records will come out through Koze's own Pampa label.
Last week we reported that Koze had soundtracked a German play called Autostück, Belgrader Hund. This being Koze, there was a quirky twist to the news: the performance takes place in a car, not a theatre, meaning it can only be watched by three people at a time.
