- The producer's debut album is due out on his own Phil label early next year.
Philogresz's debut full-length, The Lost Movie, will see release beginning this January on PHIL.
The producer has been at it since the mid-2000s, releasing EPs through labels like Treibstoff and Echocord and running the Team label out of his Dutch home base. In 2010, he founded PHIL, which has quietly released a string of limited 12-inches from the likes of Ron Deacon, Simon Hinter and the producer himself. The Lost Movie will be the first time Philogresz (not to mention PHIL) has put out an album, but the vinyl release will look more like a pair of EPs: its eight tracks will be released as two four-track samplers, with the second following a few months after the first. When the second record is released, a digital version will also drop with two to-be-named bonus cuts.
