Format brings Truncate to Toronto

- The Droid Behavior DJ will play the Ontario capital for the first time next month.
- Format will host Truncate in Toronto on November 16th. This will be the third Format party since it launched back in July with Shifted. The techno-minded series has chosen the darker techno sounds of David Flores's Truncate alias to soundtrack this event—since the name first appeared in 2011 he's had releases on labels like Modularz and History y Valencia, plus a steady stream on his own self-titled imprint too. He'll be backed up by locals Greg Gow, Measure Divide and Mike Gibbs. The gig will go down at 120 Club, and tickets are available on RA. The following weekend, Flores will return to the US for two shows in Louisville and Detroit. For a taste of Truncate, check out a mix he did for Japan's Torque podcast last month.
