  • DJ Harvey will land in New York City for a gig on November 16th. The English-born DJ is renowned for both the length of his sets and the variety he manages to squeeze in, often encompassing everything from disco to psych rock and lots in between. A pivotal figure in UK dance music history, he's had a bit of renaissance in recent years, becoming a regular at vaunted clubs and nights like Berghain, Robert Johnson and A Club Called Rhonda, among others. He's also found success as a producer with his Locussolus project on International Feel. The New York show, co-presented by Rong Music and Benny Soto, is one of just a few US gigs Harvey has played this fall. It'll take place at a secret location (to be revealed later), with no opening or closing DJs—Harvey will spin all night. There aren't a whole lot of Harvey mixes online (his 2012 RA Podcast being one rare exception), but you can hear a brief session from him over at RBMA Radio. Tickets for the gig are available on RA.
