  • Dresden label Uncanny Valley will throw a label party headlined by Marcellis at Club Puala on Friday. Uncanny Valley has been one of the more interesting house labels to emerge from Germany in recent years. The imprint was set up to host releases from a small collective of Dresden artists, launching with a series of well-received compilations featuring tracks from the likes of Jacob Korn, Cuthead and Sneaker. Today, its catalogue numbers over 20 releases, all of them helmed by producers local to the Dresden area. Most of its club nights have featured lineups drawn from the Uncanny Valley ranks, so the upcoming party with Marcellis will give Dresden residents a chance to catch an international act at one of the label's parties. The producer will be appearing fresh from the release of his most recent album, described by RA's Will Lynch as an "elegant house record, and an overdue introduction to a clearly inspired artist." Jacob Stoy, Conrad Kaden and Sandrow M will also be appearing.
