  • Chicago's Naughty Bad Fun Collective has lined up two Industry Brunch day parties in November. NBFC took a bit of a break from the Industry Brunch series following events with Dan Bell, Shawn Rudiman and Move D earlier in the year, but the Windy City crew is now back with double the fun for November. The parties will once again take place on Sunday afternoons at The Continental, and the price of admission includes a complimentary brunch (while supplies last). First up, this Sunday, is a shindig celebrating Day Of The Dead. Argenis Brito, the Venezuelan producer who's appeared on labels like Cadenza, Mobilee and Get Physical, will headline—and make his Chicago debut—with a live set. NBFC regular Sassmouth and The Black Madonna, who was recently appointed talent buyer over at Smart Bar, will play a back-to-back set, with Ariel Frank, Covio and Observer completing the day's program. The afternoon affair on Sunday the 24th has Amsterdam artist San Proper flying into town for a live set. It'll be his local debut as well, and the only live appearance on his upcoming North American tour. Hugo Ball selector Justin Long will take a turn on the decks, and for this one Sassmouth will go back-to-back with Mantas Steles. Greg K and Jarvi are also due to appear at this one, which will double as the 40th birthday party for NBFC's own Tom Cirnigliaro. Tickets to both parties are available here on RA. Update: San Proper will no longer be playing at the party. His spot on the bill has been filled by San Francisco-based producer Christina Chatfield, who's confirmed for a live set.
