Shogun Audio will release its next compilation on November 11th.
The second Way Of The Warrior collection arrives two years on from the first edition, which was released back in 2011. Run by DJ Friction for almost a decade now, Shogun has explored stylistic extremes in drum & bass, balancing experiments in different tempos with straight-up floor-fillers, as well as a healthy appetite for pop and vocals. Like the first instalment, Way Of The Warrior 2 showcases the established roster along with a few new names, and looks to capitalize on the more dance floor-oriented aspect of the label. Stalwarts Icicle, Rockwell, SpectraSoul all make appearances, along with relative newcomers to the label like Total Science, Mefjus, Fourward and Addison Groove & Sam Binga. The CD version will feature 12 tracks, while the vinyl will be limited to six.
