- The new Brussels label will open its account with the Retreat 2 Rapture EP.
XOSAR will provide the first release on a new Belgian label called Ensemble.
Ensemble is the project of Gratts and Kong, a Brussels-based pairing who throw parties under the same name. Both the party and the label are "dedicated to togetherness and deep, timeless house music," and XOSAR's EP follows her appearance at an Ensemble bash in 2012. Gratts and Kong say that, despite putting out the odd record, Ensemble "is not a label." They add: "It will not release music on a regular basis, rather when we feel the need to share something with you."
Retreat 2 Rapture will be XOSAR's third solo record of 2013, following The Calling EP for Rush Hour, and the recently released Wildlyfe Genesis 12-inch for Créme Organization. In addition to four new tracks from her sizeable vault of unreleased material, the EP also features a remix from FCL member San Soda, who adopts the Xan Xoda pseudonym for this release.
