  • Radio Slave will release an EP called The Clone Wars through his own Rekids label next month. The record will initially come out as a white-label release featuring the title track in original, instrumental, acapella and "synthapella" form. That will be followed by a full EP in early 2014 that features remixes from New York producer DJ Spider and Rekids staple Mr. G. The record, which contains Matt Edwards' own vocals, is his first original material on Rekids since last year's Live Edits EP. "The Clone Wars is my 'Screaming Hands' for 2014," he says. "It's a war cry to people out there, music or otherwise, who think it's creative and cool to just replicate the past." The 12-inch will precede a new Rekids release from label regular Nina Kraviz, though full details on that are still TBA. Tracklist 01. The Clone Wars 02. The Clone Wars (Instrumental) 03. The Clone Wars (Acapella) 04. The Clone Wars (Synthapella) Rekids will release The Clone Wars in late November 2013.
