RBMA to host Actress's Chicago debut

- Actress will make his Chicago on Sunday, October 27th, topping the bill at a Red Bull Music Academy event at Empty Bottle. It'll be another early-evening Sunday soirée in Chicago for RBMA, following one at Lincoln Hall headlined by Andy Stott back in March. The music will start at 8 PM, and Actress, on the final date of his short stateside tour, will finish off the night with a live set. Also confirmed are two local acts representing a cross-section of Windy City talent: Parris Mitchell, a veteran producer and one of the minds behind the relaunch of the acclaimed label Dance Mania, and Innerspace Halflife, AKA Ike Release and Hakim Murphy, who've recently been turning heads with their cosmically inclined take on house and techno. Mitchell is due to take a turn on the decks, and Innerspace Halflife will open things up with a live set.
