  • The first album from SPE (Single Point Edge) will come out on October 28th. The self-titled techno LP is a stylistic left turn for Dutch label Rwina, which so far has mostly focused on grime and dubstep-influenced sounds. This is the third full-length release for the imprint, with the last two coming from EPROM, to give you an idea of Rwina's usual sound. Not much information is available about SPE, but the label calls the producer's music "bleak, stripped-down techno for paranoid humans and robots," full of "booming kicks, piercing hats and oppressive melodies." Two tracks from the record are available for streaming right now: you can hear closer "Crest" here, and hear a clip of "Aporia" here. We've also got an album teaser streaming below:
Tracklist 01. The Overview Effect 02. Object Detection 03. Pillow 04. Carex 05. Lost Summer 06. Surface Tension 07. Snap Gun 08. Decompression 09. Aporia 10. Crest Rwina Records will release Single Point Edge on October 28th, 2013.
