  • Neil Landstrumm will release his tenth album on October 18th. Dragon Under marks the Scottish trailblazer's first LP since 2009's Bambaataa Eats His Breakfast on Planet Mu, and follows a series of EPs for labels like Killekill, Brothers and Don't. This one will come through Sneaker Social Club, Hypercolour's slightly more experimental arm, and it'll be the first full-length on the imprint. Landstrumm—whose career has jumped from techno to hip-hop and dubstep since 1995, creating a style he once christened "wonky techno"—reportedly makes a "return to his techno and electro club styles" on Dragon Under, also meshing together dub, grime and other bass music styles. The lengthy record features 16 tracks, including collaborations with Killekill's Bill Youngman and rapper Profisee. The vinyl release will hit first, followed by a digital version roughly a month later in mid-November. You can hear a selection of tracks from Dragon Under over at Landstrumm's SoundCloud page.
