  • Dirt Crew Recordings is launching a new sublabel later this month called Spiel. The German label has been releasing deep, techy house since the mid-2000s, and as they see it, Spiel is a chance to expand their musical remit. "You will not only find your deep house here," they write, "but also some more genre crossing styles of music in the indie dance and nu-disco field." Clancy, the London-by-way-of-Manchester producer helming Spiel's first release, is definitely helping the label move away from the sound it's most closely associated with. (His "Deep Haze" remix of Little Dragon's "Little Man" is currently pushing 100,000 views on SoundCloud.) The What You Do EP will feature two Clancy originals (three on the digital release), plus a "Diskomiks" of the title cut from Norwegian disco fiend Prins Thomas. Tracklist 01. What You Do 02. Nobody Else 03. What You Do (Prins Thomas Diskomiks) 04. Giving You Up (Digital Exclusive) Spiel will release the What You Do EP on September 30th, 2013.
