- The two Belgian techno producers have revealed details of their new experimental label.
Peter Van Hoesen and Yves De Mey have started a new label called Archives Intérieures.
The venture will launch with an extended EP called Frisson from De Mey, which comes with remixes from Van Hoesen and Demdike Stare's Miles Whittaker. All five original tracks were made by exploring the interplay between three primary pieces of equipment: a Roland SH-101, a Korg MS-20 and a Roland System 100 sequencer. Frisson comes amid a busy run of releases for De Mey in 2013, following appearances on Modal Analysis, Sonuos and Opal Tapes. Van Hoesen and De Mey have worked closely together in the past—they produce under the name Sendai—and Archives Intérieures will serve as an outlet for their more experimental music.
