- The Detroit producer will release a mix of "should've, would've, could've" tracks in September.
Scott Grooves has announced a new mix called The Unreleased Anthology Vol. 1 due for release in September.
The compilation pulls together unreleased material from the Detroit veteran dating all the way back to 1993. Since that time, Grooves has amassed a formidable catalogue of classic-leaning house and techno for Soma, Clone and his own self-titled imprint. He describes the new release in his own words as a collection of "should've, would've, could've tunes that I had intentions of releasing one day but never got around to it." The record will come on CD through select shops (as well as mail order from his own website) and limited-edition cassette tape. Unreleased Anthology Vol. 1 features collaborations with Kataconda and Alton Miller, as well as Grooves' own version of a Yellow Magic Orchestra song.
