- The Commercial Suicide head will release his seventh album in October.
Klute will drop a new LP on October 14th.
The Draft is Tom Withers' seventh album. Wearing his background in punk and rock music on his sleeve, Withers describes the record as "where [his] varied musical taste meets drum & bass and the bits beyond." The album was apparently written and recorded after a "creative vacation" where he listened to all the genres of music he could get his hands on. The vinyl version of The Draft will feature six select tracks from the full 15-track CD, and three more will get a vinyl pressing a little earlier, as part of a sampler due out on September 27th.
Like most Klute LPs, The Draft will see release on Withers' own Commercial Suicide imprint. You can stream a clip of the album's first single, "Best Bits Not Over," at the label's SoundCloud page.
