- Call Super, Skatebård and Wolf + Lamb have all contributed remixes to the forthcoming compilation on Tiny Sticks.
Mock & Toof will compile remixes of their own material on Temporary Echoes, due out September 30th.
The compilation will see release through the UK duo's own Tiny Sticks label, which put out a string of records between 2005 and 2009 before entering a period of dormancy. (It's had just two releases since 2010.) Temporary Echoes features re-rubs of tracks from the two Mock & Toof albums to date: 2010's Tuning Echoes and 2012's Temporary Happiness. For the most part, the cast of remixers is of a similar under-the-radar nature to Mock & Toof themselves—Tiago, Young Marco, Lauer, Call Super, Massimiliano Pagliara, DMX Krew, KiNK & Neville Watson and Sex Tags regular Skatebård all make contributions—with Wolf + Lamb perhaps the best-known artists involved. The full compilation will be complemented by two sampler 12-inches. For a taste of what to expect, you can stream Young Marco's remix of "Snowball" over on SoundCloud.
