  • San Francisco's Lights Down Low series has two parties coming up in Los Angeles, starting next weekend. LDL celebrated seven years of operation back in May, and now, after a handful of parties in their hometown, they're planning a couple more visits to LA. Next Saturday's party will be headlined by two Detroit favourites: the well-traveled veteran Juan Atkins, and one of the city's younger stars, Kyle Hall, who released his debut LP The Boat Party earlier in the year. Support will come from Delivery, Sleazemore, Low Limit, Richie Panic and Remy Marc. The all-nighter will take place at "a wild ass underground location that you will probably want to tell your kids about one day," and you'll need an RSVP to figure out exactly where. Another LA edition of Lights Down Low, on the night of Friday, September 27th, has also been announced. The guests at that secretly-located soirée include Blondes, the New York duo who mixed this week's RA podcast, as well as two Hotflush label artists—Locked Groove and South London Ordnance.
