  • Nightmares On Wax will drop a new album on September 17th. The self-proclaimed "grandaddy" of Warp Records and one of the institutional label's most consistent and longest-running artists, UK-born George Evelyn is a seasoned producer to say the least. Responsible for early classics like "Dextrous" and "Aftermath" (and albums like Smokers Delight and Carboot Soul in the two decades that followed), he drew attention with his funky, hip-hop influenced take on dance music. Feelin' Good was inspired by Evelyn's contentment living in Ibiza, where's been based—on a farm—for seven years now, running the Wax Da Jam party in San Antonio Bay. The LP features plenty of live instrumentation representing Evelyn's childhood love of dub and jazz, including strings, acoustic bass, drums and guitar. It's his first album since 2008's Thought So..., and will land on Warp once again after Evelyn shuttered his own Wax On label to focus his time on Wax Da Jam. The record features vocal contributions from Katy Gray and former Zero 7 singer Moses, while "Om Sweet H(om)e" has M People on percussion. Tracklist 01. So Here We Are 02. Be, I Do 03.
