- The two UK techno producers have teamed up for a new label and production project.
Shifted and Sigha have revealed details of a new collaboration called A Model Authority.
The project will kick off with a 12-inch release, the first in a series of records for a new imprint also called A Model Authority. Both artists already have their own labels—Shifted oversees Avian and its Mira and Pacific Blue offshoots with Ventress, while Sigha runs Our Circula Sound. The pair say the new venture was "born out of the desire to rise above the very modern mediocrity and complacency that surrounds us. A stamp of hard-lined ideals in a pragmatic world, a new order, a new beginning and a better way of living." The label will release on vinyl and digital formats.
