Blawan to play at Strøm 2013

- The week-long Copenhagen festival will take over Enghaveparken this August.
- Strøm has announced the lineup for its Enghaveparken event next month. The Copenhagen festival, established in 2007, runs for an entire week at venues throughout the city—churches, rooftops, museums and defunct industrial spaces have all been used in years past. The day-long open-air event in Enghaveparken, a park in the city's Vestbro district, is always one of the festival's biggest happenings. At this year's event, on August 17th, UK artists from across the country's electronic music spectrum will fly over to play: Ital Tek, Rockwell (featuring MC Mantmast) and Sherwood & Pinch have all signed on. German house veteran Isolée will be there, as will Ametsub, the first Japanese artist to play the Enghaveparken leg of the festival. Blawan, meanwhile, will play at revered Copenhagen nightspot Culture Box on the 16th. Danish artists—DJ Hvad, Kasper Marott and Rumpistol—will round out the bill. Strøm say they'll announce more artists as the event draws near.
