Disco Nihilist will launch a new sublabel from Don't Be Afraid.
DBA Special Editions, as label head Semtek told us, "will house your classic 'club use only' cuts: quality body music for big soundsystems from the producers we admire." He'd be hard-pressed to find a better fit than Disco Nihilist, an American producer whose stripped-back, hardware-based productions cut right to the chase. The four-track Journey To The End Of The Night EO follows Disco Nihilist's recent run of 12-inches for Running Back; on DBA's end, it comes on the heels of an RA-Recommended EP from MGUN, the Detroit-based recent star of our Breaking Through series.
