  • Tropic Of Cancer will precede a debut album for Blackest Ever Black with a 7-inch single called More Alone. Though it used to be a duo featuring Juan Mendez, AKA Silent Servant, Tropic Of Cancer is now the solo project of LA-based artist Camella Lobo. Ahead of her first LP under the name, Lobo will put out a one-sided 7-inch in late July. It features "More Alone," a live version of which appeared on last year's Part Time Punks Radio Sessions split release with HTRK for Ghostly International. Produced by Karl O'Connor, AKA Regis, this studio version will also appear on the full album, due out in September. Blackest Ever Black have also revealed details of a forthcoming EP from Black Rain called Protoplasm, which contains Stuart Argabright's first original material under that name since 1996. (The label have billed it as "desolated cyberpunk techno.") It too will precede a full-length release, slated for early 2014. Tracklist 01. More Alone Blackest Ever Black will release More Alone in late July 2013, with the album to follow in September.
