  • Synkro and Indigo have launched a new label called Electro Magnetic Fields. The new imprint was started by the same duo behind Mindset. EMF is intended to increase the output from their local scene of Manchester friends and producers, without the aid of a distributor and with self-designed artwork and release schemes. Founder Indigo told RA via e-mail that Electro Magnetic Fields is intended to combine genres and move into new territory, calling it a "niche sound... fusing deep sub bass with technical rhythms, percussion and really clean percussion." The first release will come from UK producer eleven8, a digital-only EP available through the label's BandCamp page. Future release formats for the imprint are still up in the air, and may include physical runs as well as digital BandCamp releases. Other artists on the books for EMF include Versa, Newcastle's Edmondson and dubstep producer Biome. There are also plans to turn Electro Magnetic Fields into a club night, but there are no concrete details yet. Tracklist 01. Unify 02. Another Mile 03. Kaetun 04. Just Passing Through EMF:001 is available now on Electro Magnetic Fields.
