  • Disco Nihilist will play four live shows in Europe over the coming weeks. Mike Taylor is known for his rugged, hardware-focused take on house and techno. After a string of EPs for Construction Paper, he's found a home on Running Back, which released his most recent 12-inch, Moving Forward. After playing his first European shows at Robert-Johnson and Panorama Bar last year, Taylor will return to perform debut shows in the UK, Belgium and Holland. His first gig will take place at the Take Five Cafe in Bristol on Friday, May 24th, at an Idle Hands showcase that also features Rhythmic Theory, The Kelly Twins, Jay L and Chris Farrell. Next up is a London date on Sunday, May 26th, for a Don't Be Afraid label night: Farrell and the Kelly Twins will again support, as will Semtek and Nick Craddock. From there he'll head to Belgium on June 1st for a Nachtwerk party with resident Red D (of We Play House), Kiani & Legion and Niles. The brief tour wraps up in Amsterdam the following night, with an Undercurrent event that also features Gerd Janson, Prins Thomas and Mugwump. Tickets for the London and Bristol parties are available here on RA.
