  • Shed has unveiled his latest single as Head High. The moniker first appeared back in 2010 with "It's A Love Thing (Piano Invasion)," which kept René Pawlowitz's distinctive bottom-heavy drum breaks intact but proved much more influenced by classic house than his other, more techno-oriented work. It was initially released anonymously but his cover was quickly blown. Since then he's put out another 12-inch and made a number of remix appearances, including Joy Orbison's 2012 anthem "Ellipsis." Burning is the first Head High material of 2013 and features three new tracks of, you guessed it, piledriving piano house, including two different versions of the title track. The record will come through Power House, the Hardwax-distributed imprint that released the past two Head High EPs as well. Tracklist A Burning (Keep Calm Mix) B1 Keep On Talking (Dirt Mix) B2 Burning (Keep It... Mix) Power House released Burning earlier this week.
