  • Veteran UK techno selector Perc will pay a brief visit to South and North America in the coming weeks. The transatlantic trip comes as Perc, real name Ali Wells, has been busy adding another handful of remix credits to his expansive catalog. Aside from the remixes EP for Matt Whitehead's "A Is For Acid" (which also includes one of the last appearances of Truss's MPIA3 project) on his own Perc Trax imprint, Wells has recently reworked material from Mike Parker, Oscar Mulero, Paula Temple and Black Asteroid. First up on this tour is a return to Cocoliche in Buenos Aires this Saturday night, where Wells will play an extended set for Gigagig. Then, next Friday, he'll make his Detroit debut headlining a Movement opening night party (which doubles as a Perc Trax label showcase). Mike Parker and Rrose (who will DJ) will also be on hand, along with Jeff Derringer and Mick Finesse among others. On Friday the 31st, Perc will DJ at a RAVEPØP night at Hardpop in Juarez, Mexico—another local debut. His visit to the Americas will wind down at Chicago club Primary with another Perc Trax showcase. Berlin-based Kyle Geiger is confirmed for that, while Derringer will offer local support and Qbot, who recently made the move from Chicago to New York, will open. Tickets for the Chicago party are available on RA.
