Juan Atkins heads to Parc Del Forum

- Parc Del Forum will host five consecutive all-day parties between June 12th and 16th. The spacious Barcelona venue, which is home to the Primavera Festival every May, will host a series of label and promoter showcases, bringing a wealth of European and international talent to the Spanish city. Wednesday, June 12th, will see the likes of James Teej, Clive Henry, Droog and Venezuelan duo Fur Coat turn out for a collaborative event co-hosted by Mexican imprint Akbal Music and Digital Delight. Pioneering UK label R&S will celebrate their 30th anniversary on Thursday, June 13th, in-conjunction with fellow Brits One Records and Illusion Recordings. Juan Atkins, Nathan Fake, Mala and Vondelpark will play the R&S stage, while DJ Deep, Jus-Ed, Shaun Reeves and Mr. G top the bill for One Illusion. Crew Love welcome the softer side of house music to the venue on Friday the 14th, with live performances from Tanner Ross & Slow Hands, PillowTalk and No Regular Play, as well as a Wolf + Lamb vs Soul Clap DJ set. Local outfits Proyectual, 33/45 and The Monkey Bar team up on the Saturday to bring a mix of US and German acts to the space, including Andrés, Fred P, Mike Huckaby and Panorama Bar residents Tama Sumo and Steffi. Rounding off the long weekend will be David James AKA Trus'me's 1RedLight party, which will run from 8 AM Sunday morning through midnight and will feature Space Dimension Controller among others—more on that here.
