- The US producer's first full-length will come out through Local Action in July.
Lil Jabba will release Scales on July 1st.
The Brooklyn and Baltimore-based producer (often stylized as "LiL JaBBA") has been making music influenced by ghettotech and footwork for a few years now. He's a member of the TekLife crew, also home to Chicago stalwarts DJ Spinn and DJ Rashad. His own work up to this point has been distributed somewhat haphazardly via limited cassette releases and YouTube uploads, and Scales is his first proper full-length collection, though some of the tracks have already been floating around for a while. The LP will come out through Tom Lea's Local Action imprint. For a taste of the album, you can stream first single "Maven" here.
