  • Benjamin Brunn's recent live show at Hamburg venue Golden Pudel has been officially released through the club's in-house label. Benjamin Brunn-Live At Golden Pudel Club documents the German producer's gig on October 28th, 2012, which was performed using G1 and G2 Nord Modular synths. Brunn told RA that the show took "three months of preparation" and consisted of entirely new material. "The performance took place on a Sunday evening, around 9 PM," he said. "The atmosphere was pretty cosy—I remember people sitting on bar chairs, on the floor, leaning against the wall and also standing in the middle of the room, and they were all listening very carefully. The sound was rich and the bass made the windows and ventilation ducts vibrate." He added: "It was meant to be an ambient set, but I didn't want to make something completely beatless, not just drones." The 19-track CD has been released through the Golden Pudel's in-house label, Pudel Produkte. It's the second instalment in a series that began last year with a live recording of UK duo Demdike Stare. Pudel Produkte released Benjamin Brunn-Live At Golden Pudel Club on April 30th, 2013.
