Five US gigs and one in Guadalajara, Mexico are coming up for the Dutch DJ.
Melancholy house purveyor Matthew Dekay will visit the US and Mexico for six DJ gigs next month.
The Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ, who might be best known these days as one half of the label and party-throwing duo All Day I Dream alongside Lee Burridge, will start this stateside tour with a set at Spy Bar in Chicago next Friday. The following afternoon, he'll head to Lewisville, Texas, just north of Dallas, to headline a Soundslike boat party. He should be in good hands at that one, as Burridge linked up with the same promoter for another lakeside event last year.
Later in the month, Dekay will play a Sound Department night at San Francisco club Mighty (along with veteran UK duo Silicone Soul), headline a daytime session with Blkmarket Membership in Brooklyn, and hit Bar Americas in Guadalajara, Mexico. The last confirmed date on the continent is at Los Angeles club Sound on Friday the 24th with Laura Jones and Droog.
Aside from touring, Dekay is also busy with a new solo project focused on his classical roots, as well as a new label—though further information on both fronts is still TBA.
Tickets to the parties in Chicago, Brooklyn and LA are available on RA.
