Jeff Mills headlines New Forms Festival 2013

- The first wave of acts for 2013's New Forms Festival have been announced. Now in its 13th edition, the Vancouver festival has been steadily increasing in size over the years. This year's lineup is no different, and also marks the first time many of these artists have played the West Coast city. Detroit legend Jeff Mills will headline, alongside electro duo Dopplereffekt and Leipzig's Kassem Mosse. Balihu boss Daniel Wang is also billed, as is PAN experimentalist Lee Gamble and L.I.E.S. regular Delroy Edwards. Portland producer EPROM and Bristol dubstepper Kahn are among some of the bass music acts named so far. Seattle's 214 and a host of locals will play the festival, which runs from September 12th through 15th. New Forms' main music programming will return to the Centre for Digital Media, and as usual there will be a number of special exhibitions, conferences and installations during the weekend as well.
