- The New York party will hold its second event next month.
- The second Idle event will take place on May 4th. A new endeavour from NYC's Big Up Magazine, Idle launched back in February with a show featuring Old Apparatus. Idle's focus is wide-set and experimental, including an emphasis on the live and audiovisual dimension of electronic music. This time around, former Sandwell District associate Rrose will headline with his hypnotic techno. Also on the bill is Ceremony Recordings newcomer Prism House, whose own experimental work mixes techno with elements from uptempo genres. DJ support will come from Dub War resident Dave Q, Futra's Dustmite and MVC. The performances will be accompanied by an art show from Japanese visual artist Kahori Maki. As with most of Reconstrvct promoter wastenot's events, the gig will take place at a secret location in Brooklyn. Tickets for the party are available on RA.
