- The eccentric producer will release a 13-track album through Modeselektor's Monkeytown Records in June.
Siriusmo will release his next album, Enthusiast, through Monkeytown Records on June 14th.
Moritz Friedrich has maintained a close relationship with Monkeytown since debuting on the Modeselektor-helmed label in 2009 with The Uninvited Guest. His production style—a curious blend of electro, experimental hip-hop and synth-fuelled house—was showcased further on 2011's extensive Pearls & Embarrassments: 2000-2010, which collected 42 of his tracks from the past decade.
Despite his reserved nature—he rarely plays live shows and totally eschews self-promotion—Friedrich has developed a decent following down the years. The arrival of Enthusiast will precede the recently announced second album from Moderat, which is due out on Monkeytown in August.
