  • Sushitech will release an archival compilation detailing the output of Steve O'Sullivan and his Mosaic label. Operational between 1996 and 2003, Mosaic was an important player in the early days of UK techno. Steve O'Sullivan - Mosaic Reshaped & Unreleased features rare, classic and unreleased tracks from Sullivan's collection of DAT tapes, some of which have been re-edited for the compilation. In addition to O'Sullivan's own material, produced both under his real name and The Wise Caucasian alias, the triple-vinyl package also contains tracks from The Ferocious Physics, Jorge Zamacona, Downlink and Mark Ambrose. It's the second time Sushitech has dipped into the Mosaic archives: in 2008 they released two Mosaic Classics 12-inches, which collected some of the label's best known cuts. Steve O'Sullivan - Mosaic Reshaped & Unreleased comes with A2 poster by Sushitech's in-house designer Kerry Roper. It has also been revealed that the Berlin-based label will issue new O'Sullivan material later this year. Tracklist A1 The Ferocious Physics - This Is Not A Seance (alternate mix) B1 Steve O'Sullivan - Burnt Out? (version) B2 The Wise Caucasian - Out Of The Blue (version) C1 Jorge Zamacona - Effort #1 (Extended Stimulus mix) D1 The Wise Caucasian - Celestial Empire (version) D2 The Wise Caucasian - Socratic Roads E1 Downlink - Arrival F1 Mark Ambrose - Take It Back F2 Steve O'Sullivan - Better Late Than Never (unreleased mix) Sushitech will release Steve O'Sullivan - Mosaic Reshaped & Unreleased in early May 2013.
