Black Rain, Tropic of Cancer, Marco Shuttle and more will also play next month's party at Public Assembly.
Brooklyn-bred, Berlin-based techno stalwart Adam X will play live as ADMX-71 at The Bunker's next party at Public Assembly on Friday, April 5th.
This edition of The Bunker is heavy on experimental live performances. It'll mark the first NYC appearance of ADMX-71, Adam Mitchell's dark ambient and downtempo project that serves as something of a counterpoint to his more club-ready productions as Adam X and Traversable Wormhole. That set will take place in the back room, where Italian DJ Marco Shuttle, making his US debut, and Bryan Kasenic from The Bunker will also be on hand. Colleen Nika, who heads the local future noir arts project Nightvision, has helped curate the venue's front room. She'll DJ around live sets from veteran acts Black Rain and Locust as well as Tropic of Cancer, Goitia Dietz and Teloahqaal.
The following night, Saturday the 6th, Marco Shuttle and Kasenic will then hit Chicago to play The Bunker's residency night at Smart Bar, with support coming from Ari Frank.
