  • Apollonia and Davide Squillace will headline the next pair of Circo Loco parties in Melbourne and Sydney at the end of March. Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia and Shonky run their own label and DJ trio under the Apollonia banner. All three have strong ties with DC-10—Ghenacia has been a resident there for 12 years—and in more recent times they have regularly played back-to-back-to-back sets at the Ibiza club. This will be their first time appearing in Australia as a collective. Fellow DC-10 resident Squillace last visited Australia for one of the earliest Circo Loco parties in the country back in 2010. In the time since, the veteran Italian producer has closed his Hideout label (a joint venture with fellow countryman Luca Bacchetti), and launched a new label and arts collective, This and That. Both shows will be held on the Easter long weekend, with Melbourne up first on March 29th at Brown Alley from 10 PM. Sydney's Greenwood Hotel will be the spot on the afternoon of March 31st, with three side stages in play: Sam Roberts will head up the Bare Essentials crew on one, Redlight and Bad Apple will team up for another, and the terrace will be manned by the likes of Brohn and GABBY.
