  • Hyetal has announced details of his second album, Modern Worship, due out in May through True Panther Sounds. The producer, real name David Corney, has one previous album to his name—2009's Broadcast—and is known for both his solo output and collaborative work with fellow Bristol artists such as Julio Bashmore (as Velour), Peverelist, Baobinga and Shortstuff. Modern Worship features three tracks co-written by singer Gwilym Gold. "When I'm working on the tracks I imagine the visuals that could accompany it," Corney says. "To me Broadcast was mainly glass and metal, large structures, the reverberant sounds of an empty city, most of it set at night. [Modern Worship] felt more like a view of that city from the surrounding dessert obscured by a red fog, with some day trips to the coast line." For a taste what to expect, you can stream album track "Northwest Passage" on the producer's SoundCloud page. Tracklist 01. Forefathers 02. The City Is Ours 03. Playing The Game 04. Lake Rider 05.
