  • ARC Festival will make its debut in Bristol on April 27th. The one-day festival, to be held at Eastville Park, is a showcase both for electronic music and for the sort of high-tech visual performances that are increasingly accompanying it. The Hypercolour and Apple Pips record labels have partnered with RFID to bring their unique dome to the festival, which will provide an immersive visual space for the for the dozens of local and international artists who have been booked to play. A number of them will be playing full-blown live A/V sets at ARC, with Warp artist Clark, Will Saul (under his Close alias) and Atoms For Peace's Tarik Barri all signed on. Tom Demac, Skudge, Livity Sound, The Black Dog, Bass Clef and Also (AKA Appleblim & Al Tourettes) will play live sets at the festival as well. DJs will be well represented, too, with acts like Roman Flügel, Behling & Simpson, October and Pinch all confirmed. Tickets for ARC are available here on RA.
