Untold, AKA Jack Dunning, has launched Pennyroyal, a new label with a stated focus on "rough and ready" techno.
Dunning currently co-runs Hemlock Recordings, the London-based label that celebrated its fifth anniversary in 2012 with the Chapter One compilation and mix. As Dummy report, Pennyroyal "will release DJ tools, cheap party tricks and relentless noise," while Hemlock will continue to operate as normal. The first two releases on the label, due out in March and April, will come from newcomer J.Tijn, while respected dubstep producer Silkie will also contribute some techno material at a later date.
